Job summary As a Lead Security Engineer at JPMorgan Chase, you are an integral part of team that works to deliver software solutions that satisfy pre-defined functional and user requirements with the added dimension of preventing misuse, circumvention, and malicious behavior.As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions with tamper-proof, audit defensible methods across multiple technical areas within various business functions. Job responsibilities Design, develop, test and deploy applications to DEV, Test and PROD environments Work with product owners to gather requirements, understand, design scalable and secure applications. Work in an agile environment and deliver features in 2 week sprint cycles Do performance tuning, code reviews and automate processes. Support/maintain applications post-production deployment (Devops) Develop enterprise scale applications including RESTful/microservices using Java spring, spring boot, ORM, python, Oracle and noSQL database Automate deployment and infrastructure pipelines in both on-prem and public cloud environment Write unit/integration test cases for the application modules. Create Software documentation and operational run books Provide architecture/application development recommendations to build scalable, secure and robust applications. Guide/help junior engineers in the team Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Must have 10+ years of applied experience in IT At least 5 years of applied experience working in Java: Spring, Spring boot frameworks or Python At least 5 years of applied experience developing and deploying applications in AWS - EC2, IAM, S3, Lambda, eks, API gateway etc., Hands on experience working on relational/NoSql databases, SQL and ORM technologies(JPA, hibernate etc., Excellent knowledge of Object Oriented concepts, analysis and design using common design patterns Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Java and AWS certification is a plus
