Overview:

Our Security Software Engineering team builds and operates highly scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems to deliver cloud-scale security software services. We provide the fundamental building blocks to improve and preserve customer trust in Salesforce's products across multiple public cloud substrates and our own network infrastructure.

One of the key investment is in the area of Identity and Access, where we design and implement consistent and scalable identity and access services for all of Salesforce, integrating our IT network, public cloud infrastructure and our own data centers, and empowering all our engineers to operate these environments in secure manner. Identity is also an area where there are large regulatory ,compliance, security and auditing requirements to ensure we have complete visibility of who has access to what. In lieu of that, we also build Apps on top of Salesforce platform that allows us to manage various workflows associated with Identity Lifecycle management.

Our products' massive complexity requires our software engineers to be highly adaptive to new technology and methodologies, and having the strong ability to deliver reliable software services under pressure. For this position (LMTS/PMTS) will provide you unique opportunity to work on building solutions on MuleSoft Anypoint and salesforce platform as well work on micro-services (Java/Python/GoLang) using public cloud (AWS)

Responsibilities :

• Lead MuleSoft Developer/Architect who will serve as technical lead on projects to design, develop, test, document, and deploy robust integration solutions on the MuleSoft Anypoint platform
• Design and build OAuth Authorization flows, API design/management, integration, data transformation, and deployment on MuleSoft Anypoint platform
• Managing, building REST APIs, real-time data integrations, RAML design, API Management, API Security (Policies & Contracts), Alert Notifications, Visualization and Monitoring
• Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the MuleSoft Anypoint platform
• Mentor other team members on MuleSoft development technologies, tools and processes
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams and documentation that can be easily understood by others
• Partner with the security team to complete security reviews, assist with development of policies surrounding data governance, security, and API development
• Collaborate with product managers, engineering managers, and architects on discovery, architecture, and design sessions
• Active participation in sprint ceremonies such as stand ups, grooming, planning, and retro
• Be curious to ask questions and provide/get feedback

Qualification:

• Certifications needed (MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1, MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 2, MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect Level 1, MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect Level 1 - Preferred)
• Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
• 10+ years in Software Engineering and 8+ years of experience on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Anypoint studio, Flow Designer, MuleSoft Composer, Mule 4 (DataWeave 2.0), API design, Mule ESB, MQ, MuleSoft Exchange, Design Center, API Manager and Runtime Manager
• Extremely proficient with CI/CD using GitHub, Jenkins, Puppet, Chef for both deployment automation and the orchestration of release processes across a number of different environments: dev, test, stage, and production
• Expert level knowledge in unit and integration testing of APIs using MUnit
• Experience with SCIM implementations and integration specialist working on multiple Mule connectors such as Salesforce Connector 10.15 - Mule 4, Salesforce Pub/Sub API Connector - Mule 4, Slack, AD/LDAP, HTTP Listener/Requestor, Database, File, SFTP, etc
• In-depth knowledge of security standards such as OAuth 2.0, JWT tokens, mTLS, SSL/mutual SSL, SAML, encryption algorithms, hashing with SHA-256, etc
• Experience of using Microservices architecture patterns and working with AWS, Azure, GCP, databases, and huge volumes of data
• Experience in GraphQL, DataGraph, and MuleSoft RPA
• Experience and passion with service ownership, SLA, monitoring, logging (Splunk), building reliable/self-healing services, incident management, and change management
• Experience working in a complex team environment. Able to deliver under pressure and dependency constraints.
• Experience at Scrum or other agile development methodologies, with attention to code quality, engineering best practices, delivering secure code
• Collaborator, self-starter, strategic providing input to technical design to meet project objectives
• Good understanding of Nonfunctional requirements Performance, Security, High Availability, VPN, VPC as well as Mule internals
• Strong communication skills: oral presentations, writing, negotiation, active listening, influencing positive team dynamics
