We are looking for Lead IT Engineer - Data & Power BI for our IT Team in Chennai. We collaborate across businesses, divisions and regions to create innovative solutions to meet the needs of our clients\xe2\x80\x94and to help our employees to grow.

Responsibilities:

• To design and develop visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop
• To connect various data sources, import, clean, enhance and transform data using Power Query and expose it to Azure Cloud
• To understand the requirement from leadership, cross-functional leads and cater their data needs using PowerBI capabilities
• To propose and automate the existing manual excel process using PowerBI capabilities
• To play the role of Data Analysts, Data Engineer whenever needed to do data reconciliations, build data pipelines, migrate data to Azure Cloud
• To train fellow colleagues on PowerBI capabilities in order to promote self service of their data needs

Requirements:

• 3 \xe2\x80\x93 5 years experience in Power Query, PowerBI Desktop and PowerBi Service
• Strong in SQL, DAX and M formulas, Excel macros, Excel Pivoting
• Must have knowledge on entity relations, multi-dimension data modelling
• Must have worked with structured, semi-structured and unstructured data
• Must have implemented application security layer models in PowerBI
• Strong at fundamentals of business intelligence, data integration, data warehousing concepts
• Good communication skills, must be able to present dashboards, KPIs, provide business insights for decision making
• Familiarity with other Power platform products like Power Automate, Power Apps etc. is a plus
• Manufacturing domain knowledge is a plus
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines.
