Job Responsibilities :

Assist Contracts Manager in fulfilment of contracts using effective and consistent Supplier Quality surveillance processes , in alignment to defined category strategies. Actively participate during understanding Technical requirements, discussions with Engineering team as well as Suppliers, execution of orders, post award contract management .

Job Accountabilities (duties and responsibilities): * Co ordinatine with Suppliers to ensure that stipulated Technical supply conditions and inspection requirements as per ITP are complied during the execution of Order . Monitoring the Inspection activities at Supplier#s end .

• Interaction with Third party inspection agencies ( TPIA) assigned for Order and monitoring their performance .
• Active participation in Technical closure of Offer, Kick off meetings and status review meetings with supplier . Maintain Close interaction with Engineering team as well as Users.
• Monitoring the Pre despatch clearance process , review of Material test certificates, Third party inspection reports and Supplier#s internal test reports.
• Carry out Supplier performance rating from Quality perspective .

Job Accountabilities

Carry out activities such as:

o Timely approval of /commenting on all quality related documents such as ITPs, NDE procedures, WPS/PQRs etc.

o Review of TPIAs reports for compliance to the PO requirements

o SQ clearance for dispatch purpose after review of inspection release note

o Resolution of Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs) and deviations sought

o Coordinate between all the agencies and departments involved for any technical issues

o Attending quality related meetings and Pre Inspection Meetings for critical items/equipment

Monitor safe storage (soft/hard copies) of all documentation of following activities

\xc2\xb7 Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs) and deviations sought

\xc2\xb7 Stage inspection reports (witnessed ones)

\xc2\xb7 Meeting records

\xc2\xb7 Timely retrieval and provision of documents as and when required

\xc2\xb7 TPIA IRNs and IRs

\xc2\xb7 SQ clearance copies

Interface with various departments across the organization

\xc2\xb7 Act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all project quality related issues

\xc2\xb7 Ensure coordination with the Site/ Project Teams for obtaining information on any quality issues

\xc2\xb7 Manage relationships with multiple vendors for quality and for timely resolution of issues

\xc2\xb7 Ensure coordination with DEC/Core Engg for quality related issues

Skills Required (Knowledge & Skills)

\xc2\xb7 The incumbent should have background of Expediting of major mechanical equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, pumps and compressors etc.) and bulk items (pipes, flanges, fittings, valves etc.) used in Oil & Gas and Refinery & Petrochemical plants

\xc2\xb7 Should have a good idea of various stages involved in manufacturing of equipment/items

\xc2\xb7 Should have good communication skills

\xc2\xb7 Basic knowledge of Microsoft office tools

Education

\xc2\xb7 B.E/B.Tech/Diploma/Similar Professional

\xc2\xb7 10+ years of experience in other similar work environment either within or outside large Oil & Gas, Refinery and Petrochemical plants

Desirable:

Certification by Professional Bodies like ASNT/ISNT

2+ years people leadership responsibility for 2+ people

Education Requirement :

• B.E / B. Tech

Experience Requirement :

• 15 to 20 years# of experience in the Procurement Inspection , Quality Management .

Skills & Competencies :

• Experience in Third Party inspection activities /Construction / Operation / Maintenance in Manufacturing sites is an added advantage .
• Decision making Skills.
• Effective Communication and interpersonal skills.
