Job summary As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase, you apply deep knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. Job responsibilities Applies technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies in dynamic complex customer environments, leading and influencing others in their technical adoption and issue resolution across a range of technologies. Be able to balance the need to resolve issues quickly with the communications needs of each case - ensuring that upstream/downstream data, controls, and systems or technical implications are considered. Drive other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize the organization and the technology processes Passionate about making sure that our clients are equipped to be able to adopt technologies, to diagnose and resolve issues for themselves Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect - cultivate long-term relationships across organisations As we are continually releasing new features, products and technologies - continually demonstrate a high aptitude for both learning and teaching Work in a collaborative manner as member of a 24.7 Global Team - aiming to deliver outstanding client experience Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related disciplineswith 10+ years of applied experience in IT 3+years of applied experience inmanaging .nix based systems in a scale-out environment Deep knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering across large distributed systems - Networking terminology, Databases, Messaging, Observability, Deployment practices, Automation, Working at Scale, Infrastructure and Appliction resiliency practicesce assessments Domain expertise in specific technology and scripting languages (e.g., Kafka, Cassandra, Python, Grafana, Prometheus etc.) Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in public and private clouds (Cloud foundry, Kubernetes, AWS etc.) Able to demonstrate a positive track record of with working in a large distributed environment across a range of technologies - Databases - Monitoring - Messages - Telemetry - Runtime Platforms Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills AWS/Kubernetes certifications Significant programming background in any applicable language
