Job Summary/ TASKS:

The IT Security Assessment Analyst is part of the UCB IT Security team and will perform the following duties:

• Review answers and on IT Security questionnaires sent out to external vendors (primarily)

• Review evidences: policies, procedures, audit reports, certifications, vulnerability scan reports, penetration test reports

• Identify acceptable and not-acceptable answers/evidences, missing information and gaps

• Identify remediation plans

• Plan and conduct meetings with respondents

• Summarize the IT Security Assessment results, estimate risk, and provide input for decision (approved, not approved, approved under condition)

• Redact reports

Job Qualifications: /RESOURCE PROFILE DESCRIPTION

• Have a minimum of2 years of experience in a similar function, primarily including IT Security Assessment review and vendor risk management

• Knowledge of and experience of IT Security standards like ISO27001, SOC audit reports, CIS controls, NIST security standards

• High sense for detail, accuracy and completeness of work

• Able to respect SLA and procedures

• Able to handle occasional peaks in workload

• Excellent English spoken and written

• Quick learner with \xe2\x80\x98on the job\xe2\x80\x99 learning

• Capable of working independently.

• Team player

• Basic knowledge of vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, Cloud Platforms and IT Security (AWS, Azure), secure development practices and tools would be an added advantage but not mandatory.

• Personal IT Security Certifications like CISA, CISM, ISO 27001 implementer or auditor would be an added advantage but not mandatory.

• Knowledge of data privacy best practices and regulation, including GDPR would be a plus.
