Key Responsibilities: - Lead the QA automation team in building and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks. - Define automation strategy, scope, and roadmap aligned with project requirements. - Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing. - Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.). - Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to ensure test coverage. - Mentor and coach junior QA engineers, conducting code reviews and training sessions. - Track automation progress, coverage, and defect metrics, reporting to stakeholders. - Drive adoption of best practices in test automation and quality assurance. Required Skills & Experience - Strong expertise in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, RestAssured, etc.). - Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#). - Experience with test frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, Mocha, PyTest, etc.). - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git, Bitbucket). - Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow). - Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs). - Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling). - Familiarity with DevOps practices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Qualifications: - Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 7+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2+ years in a lead role.
