Responsibilities Preparation for safety plans and Hazard Identification & Risk assessment for projects. Implementation of the IMS Policy, Standard Working Procedure and Safety Plan at site. Consulting with employees to ensure that health and safety issues are regularly reviewed. Demonstrates an excellent safety behaviour and attitude, follows regulatory practices and rules, recognizes and Promotes hazard reporting and ensures effective safety reporting. Models and promotes an organizational culture that fosters safety practices through effective leadership Analyses technical data for trends related to hazards, events and occurrences. Providing and associate on Safety Trainings to all levels of employees and workers of subcontractors. Promoting safety awareness to employees and workers for prevention of injury and damage to property. Acts as an information conduit to bring safety issues to the attention of management and to deliver safety information to the organization\'s staff, contractors and stakeholders. Provides and articulates information regarding safety issues within the organization. Assists in the continuous improvement of the hazard identification and safety risk assessment schemes and the organization\'s SMS. Builds and maintains an excellent working relationship with the organization\'s Safety Action Group (SAG) and within the contractors/sub-contractor management. Represents the organization on government, international organization and industry committees (e.g. DGCA, ICAO, IATA, EPCB etc.). Carry out regular site inspections in association with project manager and site team. Attending site safety committee meetings and project review meetings. Compliance with relevant legislation which apply to the workplace requirements. Conducting Internal audits for Integrated Management systems. Qualifications B. Tech (Mechanical or Civil) Graduate Diploma in Construction Safety Management (NICMAR) preferred 8-12 years of experience in the construction / Airport industry Advance Diploma in industrial Safety & Occupational Safety is preferred NEBOSH (IGC/Diploma) desirable
