Position Responsibilities: The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Supply Chain Functional Analyst to join Demand to Plan Work Stream team within Supply Chain Systems. In this role you will develop, perform analysis and research of processes, applications, systems and data to identify functional requirements for application or system design Responsible for Requirement gathering, Document preparation, End-to-End Solution design, Functional Spec preparation, Realization and Deployment Collaborate with multi-functional teams comprising of business SMEs, Architects, Developers and SIs (vendor consultants) on current processes and proposing solutions to improve current systems Identify, recommend and implement complex configuration solutions and implement full cycle configuration to meet business needs create and update associated documentation Translating Functional Specifications into Application design documents, co-ordination with development team, testing of new functionality or Improvements, Prepare Test plans and Test scripts, Perform Unit tests and integration tests Develop, review and maintain functional/application design documents in collaboration with stakeholders and SI partners Participate in the project delivery during testing cycles and lead the root cause analysis and correction of issues Lead teams and Plan for Requirement gathering, Document preparation, End-to-End Solution design. Lead and Plan during explore phase of project and complete all project deliverables Partner with Architect and Functional team to Communicate effectively on end to end solution and to management on solution aspects. Work with Functional team and translate solution to detailed design Contribute in identifying and implementing complex configuration solutions and implement full cycle configuration to meet business needs create and update associated documentation Review and maintain functional/application design documents in collaboration with stakeholders and SI partners Review and approve efficiency of build. Lead and Plan all project requirements associated with transaction access, report developments, master data, batch job set up. Lead functional teams in development of WRICEF objects independently in collaboration with ABAP Lead overall project management plan using SAP Activate methodology Review and approve new request during project sustainment. Should have very good knowledge on statistical forecast models, Multi Echelon Inventory Optimization and Supply & Distribution planning for a discrete manufacturing industry. Should have good data analysis skill Should have a good knowledge on use of Excel and Visio. Sound knowledge of external planning system integration with SAP and other third-party systems. Exposure to usage of SAP Solution Manager Some knowledge of SAP module specific User exits, batch jobs from an integration perspective. Ability to handle and lead the development of improvement objects independently in collaboration with Development team. Knowledge and Experience of Agile (SAFe) development methods Strong understanding and experience of testing tools. Understanding of business functionalities in Aerospace and Defense industry Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 12-16 years of overall SAP experience in manufacturing environments of which 12+ experience in SAP Production Planning, Advanced Planning Candidate should have done minimum 1-2 E2E implementation projects. Must have good knowledge of Planning business process with strong integration experience with SPM/JDA Experience of S/4 HANA and should be well aware of the S/4HANA road-map, aware of differences between various releases and new innovations that are brought in each of the S/4HANA release Detailed understanding of SAP Production planning including material master, the latest MRP Types and FIORI apps, MRP areas, all relevant values in MRP view, BOMS, alternatives, Routing and advanced routing knowledge, strategy groups in depth, Usage of stock requirements In Depth Understanding of special planning procedures along with interchangeability functionality In Depth Understanding of Discrete and repetitive manufacturing along with associated configurations In Depth knowledge of central function activities ECM/OCM/Batch, handling and serial number management Integration touch points with Sales/Procurement/Costing /Quality and Plant maintenance Working knowledge with WBS Have worked in projects in ASAP or Activate methodology there by gained experience in understanding requirements, architecting end to end solutions. Have Designed complex RICEFS via integrations Sound Knowledge on Advanced planning tools in SAP or external systems Breadth of Knowledge in SAP Quality Management via various inspection types 01/0101/03/04/05/08/0808/10/11/14 In Depth knowledge on Sampling scheme and Sampling procedure/MIC Knowledge and Experience of SAP Activate methodology and Agile (SAFe) development methods Strong understanding and experience of SAP testing tools and other SAP line of business products Understanding of business functionalities in Aerospace and Defense industry Exposure to usage of SAP Solution Manager Typical Education & Experience: Typically, 12-16 years of related work experience or relevant experience with Bachelor\'s degree or higher is preferred but not required.
