Roles and Responsibility

:

• 
  Be able to drive a team of around 4 - 6 developers
• Should be able to effectively lead from the front,Collaborate with Design, Product

Management & other Engineering teams to build quality product offerings for our
users

• Should be able to pair, and effectively mentor junior developers
• The ability to think innovatively and turn ambiguous problem spaces into clear

solutions

• Be an inspiration for the team and a trusted partner to our customers
• Design and build highly available, resilient, and scalable platform primitives and APIs.
• Do peer code reviews

Requirements:

• 
  8 - 10 years of experience working in the technology space as a developer
• Strong knowledge in System Design, for scale and performance
• Familiar with more than one backend language. Preferably Ruby or NodeJS or Clojure.
• Familiar with React.Js or Angular.Js or JavaScript or Vue.Js or Next.Js
• Familiar with SQL or NoSQL databases
• Familiar with data stores like redis, memcache
• Familiar with queuing systems like Sidekiq/Resque/RabbitMQ/Kafka/SQS
• Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
• Familiarity with the entire development -> prod flow a strong plus (our dev owns the

DevOps)

• Familiarity with performance tuning a web stack a strong plus
• Comfortable working in an Agile highly dynamic start-up environment
• Demonstrate leadership skill and be accustomed to driving results in a collaborative,

cross-functional environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
