Technical Team Lead:
As part of the Sapiens Digital Delivery group, you will work in a scrum team, you are the technical owner of the portal build for specific customer. The developers in the scrum team will report to you.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for ensuring that customer implementation projects are delivered in scope, on-time, in superior quality.
  • Utilize Agile project management methodologies and relevant supporting software in the planning, scheduling, reporting and change management of the projects.
  • Manage an agile team developers and testers throughout the project lifecycle - from requirement gathering to a successful go-live.
  • Act as the technical lead, creating project level architecture and providing technical solutions to custom features.
  • Designing and developing new features as well as adjusting and configuring existing features per client needs.
  • Assisting in troubleshooting complex technical problems in development and production
  • Collaborating with stakeholders (Product managers, Core engineering teams, UX) to evaluate trade-offs between design, risk, and technology
  • Ability to meet aggressive timelines and motivate the team to meet the project deadlines.
  • Responsible for code design, quality and implementation per Sapiens standards.
  • Governance - provision of customer project statuses, project timeline maintenance, project plan performance reporting, etc
  • Act as the team scrum master, ensure that the backlog is well groomed an prioritized.
  • Estimate and create project backlog and provide visibility to the project progress.
  • Audit implementations to ensure the implementation processes defined internally are followed.
  • Manage customer expectations and deliverables including as appropriate client issues management and escalation.

Requirements:
  • Great team player, with an excellent interpersonal skill who is passionate about technology, have a strong track record with leading successful B2C implementation projects - mandatory
  • B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Mathematics or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience in leading software projects which contained development and delivery to customers.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience with software development - mandatory
  • Experience and passion for modern web development technologies, methodologies, and techniques \xe2\x80\x93 React 16 / Angular (4,5,6), Node.js, Automated Unit Testing, CSS Modules / Styled Components, etc. \xe2\x80\x93 mandatory.
  • Knowledge in modern architectural methods and patterns such as Microservice Architecture, Cloud Computing and Containers (Kubernetes, Docker) big advantage
  • Public cloud experience (Amazon, Azure, Google) big advantage
  • Previous SW architecture experience - big advantage
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has ability to manage and prioritize concurrent work assignments
  • Experience leading teams providing coaching, mentoring and training to customers
  • Strong knowledge, understanding and experience working with Agile methodology
  • Strong business orientation, experience in direct interaction with customers
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Motivated to succeed with a can-do approach.
  • Agile / SCRUM Certification is a plus!
  • Good written and spoken communication skills
  • Fluent English, excellent communication skills
  • Open and willing to travel when needed.
