About the role:

As a Lead Engineer, one will be part of the Global Transfer Agency Development Team.

About the team:

• We bring award-winning, multi-asset-class investment operations and data solutions which primarily serve the Buy Side Asset Managers with front-to-back best in class solutions.
• Our market leader solutions include \xe2\x80\x93Investment Accounting Manager, Private Capital Suite, Virtus, Global Transfer Agency and Data Management solution.
• Premier Asset Managers leverage our comprehensive investment operations systems and cloud services to drive growth and efficiency in the dynamic market conditions.
• Solutions used by 80% of the world\xe2\x80\x99s largest Asset Managers as well as 90% of largest Private Equity firms.
• About 950 Product Engineering & 2,000 BPO FIS employees across the globe working efficiently to ensure our solution can process $47T worth of assets accurately.

What you will be doing:

• Work with Product Owners / BAs / Scrum Master to understand business requirements and assignments.
• Collaborate well with stake holders and other team members.
• Work on technical design specifications as per FIS guidelines.
• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications.
• Integrate software components and third-party programs.
• Verify and deploy programs and systems.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
• Create technical documentation as required.

What you will need:

• A bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
• Three or more years software engineering work experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring JDBC, Rest services, Tomcat, Angular, React.
• Good understanding of Microservices and DevOPS.
• Develop PL/SQL Programs and SQL Queries
• Strong in OOPS concepts, DBMS Concepts, Design / Architecture abilities and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in using Agile / Lean practices and methodologies.
