The Big Picture

The Lead BIM Engineer will provide modelling support throughout design phase and be a part of global support team that Digitalizes - Everything and mainly responsible for managing and coordinating BIM-based projects, ensuring consistency, quality, and integration of the model data, and overseeing the work of a team of BIM modelers and coordinators.

What you can expect as a Lead BIM Engineer at Illumine-i:

• You\'ll prepare MEP BIM models and construction drawings.

• You\'ll review designs by architects and structural engineers for BIM model development.

• You\'ll oversee BIM implementation on projects, ensuring adherence to standards.

• You\'ll coordinate with project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.

• You\'ll manage and maintain the BIM model database.

• You\'ll perform clash detections and coordinate solutions.

• You\'ll develop and maintain company BIM standards and workflows.

• You\'ll conduct training for the team on BIM tools and processes.

• You\'ll regularly review and audit models for accuracy and completeness.

• You\'ll maintain BIM-related documentation.

• You\'ll generate and distribute reports from the model.

• You\'ll perform tasks like model integrity verification, coordination meetings, and walkthroughs.

• You\'ll maintain communication with other disciplines, trade partners, clients, and project engineers.

• Possesses a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering along with a minimum of 7+ years of applicable experience.
• Demonstrates proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD/Navisworks.
• Knowledge of Architecture, Structural Engineering, construction methods, building materials, and building codes.
• Displays a keen eye for detail, excels under pressure, and consistently meets deadlines.
• Effectively communicates information and ideas within the organization, actively listens, solicits feedback for personal growth, and responds appropriately to messages from peers and superiors.
