Key Responsibilities
A Lead EHS is a primary advisor to project and site managers on EHS matters and typically handles duties such as designing and implementing EHS management systems, conducting hazard and risk assessments, and leading site inspections and audits. They also lead incident investigations and are responsible for regulatory reporting. Ensuring compliance with specialized safety programs like Lockout/Tagout, fall protection, and electrical safety is also part of the role. Other responsibilities include developing and delivering EHS training and managing environmental permits and compliance.
