About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Control Management Officer.

Corporate Title: Vice President

Role Type: Individual Contributor

In this role, you will:
  • Lead complex initiatives designed to mitigate current and emerging risks with broad impact.
  • Act as key participant in monitoring, evaluating, and measuring the impact of decisions practiced in Control Management functional area.
  • Monitor moderately complex business specific programs and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area.
  • Develop and implement risk monitoring and risk reporting processes and controls.
  • Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations and provide guidance in developing and implementing risk-mitigating strategies.
  • Lead Control Management project or virtual teams.
Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Job Expectations:
  • Present recommendations for resolving complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing Control Management functional area expertise.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to interact and lead discussions comfortably with senior levels of management and regulators.
  • Provide support in the interpretation of policy, guidelines, and governance programs as front-line liaison to Independent Risk Management area.
  • Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area.
  • Experience and knowledge of Power BI and Tableau tools - capable for Big data analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience.
  • Subject Matter Expert/Strong experience in RCSA Workshop - Should lead and coach junior members. Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to less experienced staff.
  • Provide leadership to the team for the purpose of attaining a common goal.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills to effectively influence all organizational and leadership levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are a must.
  • Lead Control Management projects, Efficiency Projects
  • Understanding of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies - and able to drive process improvement projects.
  • Should contribute for developing, publishing training material.
  • Experience with management reporting (dashboards, PPT, etc.)
  • Experience creating executive presentations.
