Department Overview Enterprise Functions comprises Finance, HR, Public Affair and Legal functions. It is responsible for partnering with Enterprise Functions to identify, assess, manage and mitigate current and emerging risk exposures associated with their activities and operations. Monitors, measures, evaluates, and reports on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group and enterprise function. Consults and provides guidance to business groups on the development, implementation, and monitoring of moderately complex business-specific programs to identify, assess, and mitigate risk. Consults and provides support in the interpretation of policy, guidelines, and governance programs as the front line liaison to Independent Risk Management area for moderate to high risk and complexity enterprise risk programs. Provides risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business processes and controls that mitigate risks and address regulatory requirements. Develops and implements risk monitoring and risk reporting processes and controls. Monitors and reports on its risk concentration, current and emerging risk, and risk appetite. This is a Lead Control Management Officer role supportingEnterprise FunctionsControls group. The individual will be responsible for developing, implementing the Global Delivery Risk program requirements and other controls governance / reporting routines that support the controls organization as per risk & controls framework. Responsibilities The primary role of theLead Control Management Officer will be to support the I/PEnterprise FunctionsControl team in executing Global Delivery Risk programs in alignment to Risk & Controls framework. The ideal candidate should possess strong background in Operational Risk Management, and the ability to work across a large, complex and highly matrixed organization will be critical. As the control organization, we are responsible for the development and maintenance of a strong control environment that leads to early identification and sustainable mitigation of operational risk. . Responsible for driving end to end risk & control related programs and related requirements / activities. . Create testing framework and sustainable working solutions for any new control related activities / requirements . Demonstrate thorough functional understanding as a subject matter expert . Design & implement risk reviews, assessment methodologies & framework . Drive risk & control reviews on all new / change transitions per requirements from Transition Governance Framework . Development and maintenance of risk assessment strategies, methodologies and related processes / procedures. . Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems and internal controls analyze business and/or system changes to determine impact, identify and assess operational risk issues and assigns risk ratings consistent with established policy standards . Assess applicability & redraft / implement policies and procedures in alignment with CR roles & responsibilities . Facilitate end to end issue management for all risk incidents including developing & validating sustainability of action plans, root cause analysis and identify trends for proactive mitigation . Perform ongoing monitoring & validation of policy exceptions . Facilitate Enterprise Risk Identification and Assessment programs . Drive periodic controls review & facilitate attestation programs and enable reporting to senior management . Ability to deliver training sessions / control awareness programs to internal teams and business groups . Demonstrate documentational abilities / skills to support the role requirements . Demonstrate collaborative efforts and strong partnership with stakeholders and internal teams . Support regulatory reviews, and its and other compliance activities, including: . Quarterly risk & controls reporting to leadership teams and other governance routines . Other control programs / projects in partnership with accountable business groups . Provide guidance to new, less experienced team members. . Performs review activities and overlooking the nuances of the team to implement all key operational risk components . Drive continuous improvement & transformation initiatives to enable new opportunities for process efficiencies Market Skills and Certifications : Essential Qualifications . University degree in Business or related discipline. . Experience of minimum 10+ years in Operational Risk domain and Risk Assessment programs. . Strong knowledge of the Operational Risk Framework and disciplines primarily in the Banking industry and its related operations . Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear, concise manner. Ability to produce high-quality reports and documentation . Strong time management skills and the demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision . Must have demonstrated strong technical writing skills including the proven ability to clearly document activities, processes and test results . Experience with developing and creating documentation for support and training activities . Critical thinking and Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy . Strong comprehension/ability to learn technology tools, communication & analytical skills . Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. . Ability to work with and communicate with all levels of the organization . Proficiency with MS office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS-Visio. . Self-starter and able to work independently . Minimum of 10-12 years of overall experience with a minimum of 4+ years in the Operational Risk Management, Risk Assessment, Global delivery model and Compliance discipline. .
