Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant \xe2\x80\x93 Windows/Cloud Admin

Responsibilities:

Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues

Management of OS \xe2\x80\x93 Compute, Memory, server resources

Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure

Knowledge in core Azure services like, Storage accounts, Auto-scaling, Virtual Networks, Recovery services etc.

Management of Vnet/VPC/VCN

Creation of Subnets/IP Ranges

Perform server health check-ups such as resource utilization, Zombie processes

Maintain and frontend disaster recovery drills, backup and restore procedures

Installing, manage and configuring Windows server OS from 2010 to 2019.

Manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs), Organizational Units (OUs), domain controllers (DCs), and Trusts.

Setup active directory accounts/users management and workstations

Server Patching & upgrades

ESX / VMWare support

Storage account management along with Snapshots

Cloud Account management

Install and report on patch/system updates and vulnerability compliance

Server builds, provisioning \xe2\x80\x93 Physical &

Ensure system backups and retention are in place

Troubleshoot issues and outages

keep the asset inventory to the latest

Create architecture diagrams, documents and standard operating procedures

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum qualifications:

Proven work experience as a Windows Administrator

Detailed knowledge of Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance.

Clear understanding of core Azure services like, Storage accounts, Auto-scaling, Virtual Networks, Recovery services etc.

Ability to create/work on scripts in Powershell.

Experience with patching and vulnerability management

Familiarity with networking, database, virtualization and cloud computing (Azure)

Knowledge of network security systems, intrusion detection systems, and data backup

Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude

Excellent communication and analytical skills

Knowledge of Linux is added advantage

Self-motivated team-player with positive attitude.

Languages: Must be highly fluent in English.

Coverage: Primary Eastern Standard time zone

Preferred qualifications:

Very good written and presentation / verbal communication skills with experience of customer interfacing role.

In-depth requirement understanding skills with good analytical and problem solving ability, interpersonal efficiency, and positive attitude
