The Opportunity: The ECM Consultant at Open Text bridges the gap between the technical world of OpenText Enterprise Content Management & needs around document management and related processes of our customers. Therefore, a combination of deep technical ECM configuration & development skills, configuration, and strong understanding of OpenText ECM and a wide range of equally important \'soft\' consulting skills such as advanced customer-facing skills, customer relationship building, facilitating/lead blueprint design and requirements workshops, and excellent communication skills are required for this role. You are great at: . Implementing ECM solutions to meet business requirements and communicating those designs effectively through specifications. . Understanding OpenText Content Server, Brava, Blazon, Archive Server, OTDS, sMFT, CS WebServices & Rest APIs, System Center, OScript and related functionalities & Integrations . Records Management, Physical Objects, Consulting experience, i.e. configure/maintain/troubleshoot . Installation of Content Suite along with scaling and sizing of the ECM landscape . Managing end-to-end Implementation independently. . Understanding of integrations Office 365, SharePoint, Coreshare, and related technologies is useful. . Understanding of JAVA, Content Server, and Scripting languages is a plus. . In-depth understanding hands-on of the development of SMART UI, Oscript modules, & restful, CWS services . Planning and coordinating unit testing and integration testing phases, including writing use cases, and test scripts. . Testing of extensions and implemented solutions. . Willing to conduct Business workshops and training for the end-user community. . Communicate effectively in English, in writing and verbally. . Work independently without supervision. . Demonstrate a passion for technology and willingness to learn new technologies . Must be willing to travel within India and globally. . Must be willing to work for customers in multiple time zones What it takes: . Advanced Degree in Computer Science or similar. . Minimum 8 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 4 years in consulting. . Experience with OpenText ECM - Installations, upgrades, Configurations, OTDS and Developments . Experience in OpenText Content Server, Archive Server installations, upgrades & Patching . In-depth understanding of upgrades and migration of Content Server, Archive Center and related components . Upgrades & Migrations achieved through automation . Modelling upgrades and migrations approach for shorter timelines which can be implemented for any customer and for any kind of landscape . Understanding of Storage, Network, Virtualization, OS and Authentication knowledge required to provide the optimum solution for migrations and upgrades . Tools to provide concrete proof of successful upgrades and migrations . Understanding of how to improve throughput for migrations with limited hardware & software resources . Providing upgrade approaches that will require minimal duration and least impact to BAU . Prior Experience in JAVA, OpenText Content Server, Scripting languages, . Should be hands-on on RCA-related performance and functional issues ECM implementations . Gain the trust and respect of customers and colleagues, in fast-growing and sometimes challenging business circumstances and under pressure. . Demonstrate a keen interest to learn new technologies. . Quick Learner - e.g. about a new technology, or about a customer\'s business processes. . Demonstrate commercial awareness, i.e. identify commercial opportunities. . Share knowledge with colleagues and in the wider Open Text and Partner community. . Good problem-solving and Trouble-shooting skills. .
