Your Impact: We are currently seeking an experienced CAD Administrator with expertise in the field of Oil & Gas and Water. As a CAD Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the CAD operations within our organization, with a focus on Bentley OpenPlant 3D Suite of Products, SmartPlant, MicroStation V8i, and Autodesk product suite. Your skills in 3D modeling, administration, and design review will be essential to ensure the successful execution of projects in the Oil & Gas and Water industries. Responsibilities: 1. CAD Management and Administration: - Oversee and lead CAD operations, particularly using Bentley OpenPlant 3D Suite of Products, SmartPlant, MicroStation V8i, and Autodesk product suite. - Implement and maintain CAD standards and best practices to ensure high-quality drawings and designs. - Review and approve CAD drawings, isometric drawings, MTO (Material Take-Off), and support details to meet industry standards and project requirements. - Manage equipment lists, line lists, and piping layout drawings. 2. 3D Modeling and Design: - Utilize Bentley OpenPlant 3D Suite, SmartPlant, and Autodesk products for 3D modeling of piping and equipment. - Perform pipe routing using equipment layout and P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams). - Ensure sound and accurate designs by conducting SmartPlant Review for model reviews and completeness checks. 3. ISO Generation and Quality Control: - Extract isometric drawings (ISO) from 3D models using ISOGEN and conduct ISO QA/QC using REVIEW and P&ID. - Review piping isometrics and piping GADs (General Arrangement Drawings) for accuracy and adherence to project specifications. 4. Project Collaboration and Coordination: - Collaborate with engineering, design, and project management teams to understand project requirements and deliver CAD solutions that align with project objectives. - Coordinate CAD activities with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of designs. 5. Technical Expertise: - Demonstrate proficiency in Bentley OpenPlant 3D Suite of Products, SmartPlant, MicroStation V8i, and Autodesk product suite. - Familiarity with Autodesk product suite, including Plant3D, Vault, and BIM360. - Experience in PDMS (Project Setup and Paragon Module) and CADworx (Plant and Structure). 6. Team Leadership: - Lead and mentor CAD technicians and drafters, providing guidance and support in their professional development. - Assign tasks, manage workloads, and ensure project deadlines are met efficiently. 7. Quality Assurance and Standards: - Ensure compliance with piping standards and ASME codes and standards. - Implement quality control procedures to identify and resolve potential errors or discrepancies. 8. Communication and Coordination: - Effectively communicate in English with good interpersonal skills to collaborate with project stakeholders. - Handle a team of consultants and coordinate their activities. Here\'s What You\'ll Need: Requirements: - Bachelor\'s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. - Extensive experience in the field of Oil & Gas and Water, with a focus on CAD administration and 3D modeling using Bentley OpenPlant 3D Suite, SmartPlant, MicroStation V8i, and Autodesk product suite. - Proficiency in Bentley OpenPlant 3D Suite of Products, Bentley OpenPlant PID, SmartPlant, MicroStation V8i, Autodesk Plant3D, Vault, BIM360, PDMS, and CADworx. - Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team. - Excellent understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to CAD in Oil & Gas and Water sectors. - Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills. - Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
