Role: Business Intelligence Administrator and Developer(Lead) Location: Hyderabad Experience: 5+ years and more Client: Sagent Pharma Job Summary / Overview: The Business Intelligence (BI) Administrator / Developer will be responsible for the management and administration of Tableau Reporting Suite for the enterprise. This role will also work closely with business stakeholders to understand and analyze data to provide actionable reports, dashboards and analysis. This role will assist in developing and supporting the business analytical reporting super users across the company. Success will be focused on Managing the overall Tableau Online environment with sufficient performance and security to accommodate the initial and incremental data sources identified over time Driving enablement and adoption of Tableau to accelerate business usage and decision making Key Duties & Responsibilities: Manages the overall Tableau Online environment responsible for user management, security, performance and monitoring, etc. Configures Tableau tools and develops the business semantic layer for Sagent Pharmaceuticals business intelligence reporting and analysis Works directly with end users and business analysts to ensure a tight fit between Tableau solutions and business requirements Applies iterative design methodology to design/develop reports, dashboards, scorecards, and analytic applications using Tableau Defines best practices for Tableau report and dashboard development Troubleshoots BI tool problems and tunes for performance Contributes to formal BI training content and delivery Provides second-line support to business analysts and power users who develop reports on behalf of their departmental colleagues Proactively works with business users to drive enablement and adoption of Tableau to accelerate business usage and decision making Serve as back-up to the EDW Data Integration Lead in support of Talend ETL production jobs and processes Knowledge or Experience: 5-7 years of overall relevant work experience. Pharmaceutical experience strongly preferred but not required 3+ years relevant BI work experience working hands-on implementing end-to-end Tableau solutions for at least 2 years Experience translating business requirements into reports, dashboards, and scorecards applying best practice visualization and data delivery techniques Experience data modeling for dimensional / star schema designs with strong SQL skills Experience designing, implementing and managing the Tableau semantic layer Extensive knowledge of Tableau\'s products including architecture, functions, and features with direct experience using Tableau Online. Experience with Tableau Prep is preferred, but not required. Must have experience developing Tableau solutions in a direct customer facing role following an iterative or agile methodology Hands-on experience with Talend or similar data integration development tool strongly preferred, but not required. Strong problem-solving, conceptual design and analytics skills Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences Minimum Qualifications / Experience: Education / Certifications: Minimum Bachelor\'s degree, preferred degree in technology related field, project management, or other related fields. 5+ years of overall relevant work experience. Pharmaceutical experience strongly preferred but not required 3+ years\' experience implementing and supporting end-to-end Tableau solutions Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work well with multiple departments, and share a common sense of purpose. Level of Managerial Experience (People) Required Scale of 1 - 10 with 1 being low and 10 high - 3 Travel Requirements Less than 10% Decision Making Level of decision making ability expected o Decisions will impact the performance of the analytics reporting system, the adoption and utilization of the analytics solution by the business, and the ease of incorporating additional data sources to be accessed by the reporting system to enable business impact. Job contributes to decisions on the data warehouse and analytics portion of the overall IT strategy and direction of the company.
