In this centre, development work will focus on AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science. Through the Hub, we will expand our capabilities in Product Systems, Merchandising and Planning, Digital Presence, Distribution and Logistics, and Corporate Systems. The team in India will work as an extension of the global Technology team on projects of strategic priorities.

About this team/role

The architecture group at lululemon is responsible for guiding the design and implementation of technical strategies that support every aspect of our rapidly scaling global business. You will work in a matrixed environment alongside peers in business, engineering, program, ux and strategy among other disciplines to collaboratively develop and deliver industry leading technology solutions that drive lululemons business goals. In addition to your primary team, project, or portfolio you will be supported by a diverse Architecture Community of Practice, which provides learning and governance resources to all architects and will help you build a strong and robust practice of leadership grounded in technical proficiency, innovative thinking and empathy.

A day in the life:

• As an Infrastructure and Network Architect you will manage a portfolio of solution architectures and technical strategies serving one or more major business or technology capabilities. In partnership with other senior leaders, and architects of all levels, you will work to establish and govern strategic target state architectures. You will provide overall technology guidance & mentorship and serve as subject matter expert for the specific Business and Technology engineering leads, that are primary stakeholders
• Create the current and future state Infrastructure and network strategy & architectures which includes roadmaps & capability mapping for assigned capabilities and organizations
• Partner primarily with other Architects, Technology Directors, and Divisional Executives to define and describe the most important architecture and engineering capabilities under management
• Support program and project delivery by setting solution development priorities for Lead Engineers and Technology Managers
• Researches and summarizes industry trends and practices; presents recommendations based on findings when relevant
• Partners with Principal Architects to ensure that standard practices and Enterprise level design targets are encoded in delivery portfolio managed by other architects assigned to their portfolio

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science with overall 12 to 14 years experience in IT industry
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in network architecture and design on any of the leading cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Experience in planning and designing networks on highly distributed multi-region cloud infrastructure
• Experience in managing different aspects of networks like hardware, software, and security
• Experience in design, implementation, and maintenance of large network infrastructure
• Experience in network architecture assessment, identifying risks and solutions
• Experience in applying network architecture principles and patterns globally
• Experience in analyzing multiple solution options and providing clear recommendations
• Ability to effectively communicate with senior stakeholders, influence design decisions and implementation of network strategy and roadmaps
• Identify and anticipate new tools and features which can be leveraged to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company
• Provide Operational support and guidance to help engineers across the organization adopt to cloud

• Must have experience in architecting and designing networks on cloud for at least two large systems (system component includes load balancers, web servers, databases etc.)
• Must have experience in any one of the leading cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure), Preferably AWS
• Must have experience in working across geographies and across diverse cultures, Preferably North America
• Must be certified from any one of the leading providers like Cisco, Aviatrix, Palo Alto, Preferable AWS Certified Advanced Networking certificate.
• Experience with Device managed technologies like Intune, JAMF or MobileIron etc.
• Experience working with DNS and DHCP
