Position summary - Describe below the primary purpose and function of this job in 4-5 sentences: The Compliance Regulatory Change Management function is a core pillar of BNY Mellon\'s Compliance program and functions in tandem with Business Compliance, Legal, Business Stakeholders and other control groups to ensure effective regulatory change management. The Regulatory Change Management function provides: Global Horizon Scanning coverage to identify relevant regulatory changes, regulatory events, notices or other publications of relevance to BNYM Initial triage of regulatory changes and other notifications, in line with pre-agreed parameters. Tracking and reporting of regulatory changes Coordination of Compliance Rules Inventory updates and mappings This role will require the job holder to support the Regulatory Change Management function through the following, but not limited to - Triage and allocation of regulatory change alerts Oversight of completion of regulatory change alerts Escalation and reporting of overdue impact assessments Co-ordination and tracking of updates to the Compliance Rules Inventory Responding to queries of the Regulatory Change tooling The role also requires the job holder to - Support with metrics and reporting where required. Essential Functions - Key Roles & Responsibilities : Should have previous experience in Financial Services, with a familiarity of BNY Mellon lines of Business. Preferred experience in Financial Services Regulators or Regulation. Strong analytical skills and ability to meet stringent deadlines, work under pressure with attention to detail and accuracy to achieve quality results. The role requires interaction with internal stakeholders at all levels up to senior management and consequently the role necessitates strong collaboration skills. Good communication skills (written and oral) are required. Excellent presentation skills are necessary Manage and prioritize workloads and work on own initiative Job Qualifications : Education: Professional qualifications in Financial Services preferred (i.e Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) exams merit award / Diploma / IMC / CFA). Preferred Experience: Previous experience in a reporting role within Financial Services required. Awareness or practical understanding of regulatory regimes/horizon scanning frameworks preferred. Experience or awareness of APAC, US and EMEA regulations preferred. Required Skills: Excellent knowledge of Computer and MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with eye for detail and strong analytical and problem solving skills.
