We are looking for Lead Accounts Payable Accountant who will be responsible for working with the vendor master team validating the correctness of data & ensuring appropriate audit controls & guidelines are met. The role will report directly to the Supervisor, Accounts Payable. We would love to talk with you if you have the Accounts Payable experience outlined below. About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments Accounting Professional with 5-7 years of experience in vendor onboarding & maintenance process Thorough knowledge around tax process including W8, W9s & withholdings etc Ability to work in a fast paced and continually changing environment. Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and work within tight timeline while paying attention to detail. Excellent English Skills both verbal and written. Advanced Excel skills It would be great if you also had Working knowledge of NetSuite, Oracle or similar ERP platforms Working knowledge of Coupa What will you be doing in this role Ensuring all internal audit controls and guidelines are maintained. Be a SME for projects and assist team members in their day-to-day queries. Ensuring timely resolution and responses for the NetSuite Vendor Master queue. Participating in ongoing projects, assisting in data consolidation, field mapping, UAT, integration and liquidation of legal entities. Educating business stakeholders on current processes. Performing vendor clean-up exercises as required. Utilizing your knowledge of country specific banking requirements. Looking for ways to automate & simplify manual processes to improve productivity. Monitoring to ensure that all deliverables are completed as per the specific timelines. Deactivating the terminated employee records, weekly payment file review, employee banking file received from workday, VBP queue, VM emails boxes etc. Assisting with capturing the exceptions and updating the standard operating procedures as required. About the Team We have a great team of self-driven colleagues who is responsible for onboarding new vendor accounts, amending the existing records and handling inquiries received from internal stakeholders as well as vendors. The team plays a crucial role in ensuring customer delight & providing exceptional customer service. Hours of Work Lead Accounts Payable Accountant is a full-time role with working hours are 2:00 pm - 11:00 pm IST.
