Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Laundry Operations

Sort laundry items by fabric type, colour, and washing instructions. Load/unload washing machines and dryers. Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Use appropriate detergents, chemicals, and stain removers. Fold, iron, and press clothing, linens, uniforms, and other items. Ensure items are cleaned and presented to quality standards.

2. Stain Removal & Quality Checks

Inspect dirty laundry for stains, damage, and special treatment needs. Treat stains using correct procedures. Check finished laundry for cleanliness, stains, tears, or repair needs.

3. Inventory & Storage

Maintain proper stock of detergents, chemicals, and supplies. Record usage and inform supervisor when stock is low. Store washed and ironed items in designated areas.

4. Guest & Staff Service

Handle guest laundry requests promptly and professionally. Ensure accurate tagging, tracking, and delivery of guest laundry. Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments for linen requirements.

5. Equipment & Safety

Clean and maintain laundry machines and work areas daily. Report equipment issues to maintenance/supervisor immediately. Follow all safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.

Skills & Qualifications

Prior experience in laundry operations preferred (hotel, residence, facility management). Knowledge of washing techniques, fabric care, and ironing. Ability to operate laundry machines and handle chemicals safely. Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks. Good time management and attention to detail. Basic record-keeping and communication skills.

Pay: ?9,980.97 - ?25,000.00 per month
