Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laravel Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP development with a focus on the Laravel framework. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications, ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain Web Applications:

Build, test, and maintain robust, scalable, high-performance web applications using the Laravel framework. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Database Management:

Design and manage databases using MySQL or other relational databases. Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.

API Development:

Develop RESTful APIs and ensure their integration with front-end components. Work on third-party API integrations.

Code Optimization and Troubleshooting:

Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems. Conduct regular code reviews and maintain coding standards.

Security and Compliance:

Implement security measures to protect data and applications. Ensure compliance with web security standards and best practices.

Project Collaboration:

Work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to deliver projects on time. Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in PHP and Laravel development.

Skills:

Proficiency in PHP, Laravel, and MySQL. Strong understanding of OOP principles and MVC architecture. Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Vue.js or React is a plus. Familiarity with version control tools, particularly Git. Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations. Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools. Familiarity with microservices architecture. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Certification in Laravel or PHP development.
