Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the stewarding team.
Ensure all kitchen and dishwashing areas are clean, hygienic, and well-maintained.
Monitor proper use and storage of cleaning supplies and chemicals.
Maintain hygiene and safety standards in compliance with food safety (HACCP) guidelines.
Oversee the operation and maintenance of dishwashing machines and other stewarding equipment.
Ensure proper cleaning and sanitization of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and food storage areas.
Assist in inventory control of cleaning supplies and stewarding equipment.
Train and motivate stewarding staff to meet performance and cleanliness standards.
Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff to support food production needs.
Ensure that garbage disposal and waste segregation are done according to company policies.
Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues promptly.
