Job Description

Supervising and Training Staff:

Assigning duties to kitchen stewards. Training new employees and ensuring they follow established protocols. Evaluating employee performance and providing feedback.

Maintaining Cleanliness and Hygiene:

Ensuring all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are clean and sanitized according to standards. Monitoring water temperature and chemical levels for cleaning. Inspecting equipment for proper cleanliness and sanitization.

Managing Inventory and Supplies:

Ordering and managing cleaning supplies, equipment, and uniforms. Ensuring adequate stock levels to support daily operations. Managing inventory of kitchenware, dishware, and other supplies.

Coordinating with Other Departments:

Coordinating with packing, dispatch, and kitchen teams for daily cleaning tasks. Working with other departments to ensure efficient workflow.

Safety and Security:

Following company safety and security policies. Reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management. Ensuring employees complete required safety training and certifications.

Work Scheduling and Delegation:

Preparing weekly work schedules and duty roasters for stewarding staff. Briefing staff on assigned duties and responsibilities. Delegating day-to-day tasks and responsibilities.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?27,000.00 per month
