Job Location: SIAS, Sri City Campus: # 5655, Central Express Way Sector 24, Sri City Chittoor – 517 646, A.P The Economics Program in the School of Interwoven Arts and Sciences (SIAS) at Krea University invites
you to teach and tutor undergraduate students by applying for a Teaching Fellow position in game theory.
This is an introductory course in game theory being offered to both the third and the fourth-year students
at the School of Interwoven arts and Sciences at Krea University. The course will cover introductory
topics starting with the concept of elements of strategy, dominance, Nash equilibrium in static and
dynamic games to more advanced topics such as repeated games, auctions and bargaining. The pedagogy
will include interactive in-class games to familiarize students as well as problem solving, case study
discussions and group assignments. The teaching assistant is expected to be familiar with basic concepts
of Game theory and experience in analytical problem solving and ability to teach/tutor undergraduate
students.
As a Teaching Fellow in the Economics program, you will also have the opportunity to work closely with
our Economics faculty in all aspects of classroom engagement. Educational Qualification: Candidates with Masters degree in Economics will be preferred. Familiarity
with the subject (having taken the course on micro economics or game theory at the Masters level)
Location: Sri City. Candidate will have to travel to Sricity twice a week and also offer online support or
work from Krea Admin office if required.
Remuneration: The remuneration package is competitive.
Duration: 3 months
:
1. Assist faculty in conducting the class, especially with in-class interactive sessions. Tutor students and
help them in problem solving and assess class participation during case study discussions. Grade the
answer sheets for mid-term and end-term exams
2. Facilitate student learning:
Teaching fellows will help maximize the learning experience in larger courses, giving students individual
attention and feedback as needed. They will maintain office hours, and conduct discussions and tutorials.
They will help students navigate coursework and assignments, giving them the individualized attention,
they need.
