Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Developer with hands-on experience in the Kofax Kapow RPA toolset to build maintain and mature our automation footprint. This role will focus on designing and delivering automation solutions collaborating across business IT and architecture teams and supporting production bots exception handling scaling and governance. You will also contribute to our RPA centre of excellence CoE and support the shift towards an agentic automation workforce.


Key Responsibilities


Design develop test and deploy automation solutions using Kofax Kapow robotic process automation for structured and unstructured data multi-application flows scheduling exception handling


Collaborate with business analysts process SMEs and IT teams to gather requirements translate into automation scripts define PDDs and solution design documentation


Develop and maintain bots error handling logging retry logic monitoring operational dashboards


Support bot maintenance and production support issue triage root-cause analysis corrective enhancements performance tuning


Ensure adherence to RPA architecture governance security compliance operational best practices logging audit version control


Integrate Kapow bots with other platforms APIs web services databases ERP systems legacy systems as needed


Develop reusable components libraries templates and standards to accelerate bot development and maintainability


Mentor junior automation developers perform code reviews and promote best practices


Work with the RPA CoE to drive automation metrics bot ROI throughput error rates continuous improvement and scale-out of automation


Stay current on Kofax Kapow versions features marketplace trends and propose tool and architecture improvements


Required Skills and Experience


Four to seven years of software development and automation experience of which at least two to three years in Kofax Kapow or equivalent RPA tool


Strong hands-on experience in designing and building bots in Kofax Kapow including discovery design build test deploy phases


Solid programming and scripting skills VBScript C# .NET or other modern scripting languages


Strong understanding of application architectures databases SQL Server or Oracle APIs and web services REST or SOAP and integration points


Experience working with structured and unstructured data OCR and ICR processes desirable


Experience with version control continuous integration and deployment enterprise deployment frameworks


Good analytical logical thinking ability to troubleshoot complex flows and identify efficient automation solutions


Strong communication skills ability to work across business and IT teams


Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or equivalent

Experience in enterprise RPA governance bot operations monitoring and scaling automation across multiple business functions


Experience in migration of bots legacy RPA and automation to Kofax Kapow


Domain experience banking and financial services insurance shared services


Kofax Kapow certification if available


Familiarity with cloud environments Azure AWS and hybrid deployments
