About the Role:
The Knowledge Manager works closely with key partners within the business (senior leaders as well as subject matter experts) to capture, curate, manage and maintain knowledge content in NKC knowledge management solutions. The role requires developing a degree of expertise about the assigned knowledge areas, which may be technical, scientific, business / functional) as well as the purpose, principles and features of assigned solutions. The Knowledge Manager must be able to listen and question effectively to understand stakeholder needs, to communicate clearly and to manage expectations. The role is suited to individuals who are proactive, entrepreneurial and resilient-capable of thinking holistically, acting independently and dealing with ambiguity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic stakeholder management: develop and own relationships, build partnership, communicate clearly and effectively, influence toward positive outcomes aligned with solution principles.
  • Knowledge architecture: understand and maintain knowledge content organization within solutions (e.g. knowledge pages, \xe2\x80\x9czones\xe2\x80\x9d, menus, taxonomies).
  • Knowledge capture: request / receive, upload, tag, organize and regularly review content.
  • Knowledge curation: identify and organized content to meet specific business needs (e.g. configure targeted feeds or alerts, build and distribute newsletters).
  • Data privacy / compliance: commit to learning about various data privacy, legal, ethics, risk and compliance requirements around various types of content and how to facilitate stakeholders in abiding by these requirements in relation to KM solutions.
  • Data and insights: analyze data related to knowledge utilization as well as user feedback to develop insights and propose actions to improve knowledge relevancy, usage and impact.
  • Continuous improvement: collaborate with the wider team and business stakeholders to manage continuous improvement activities around the knowledge content or aspects of the knowledge solution.
Role Requirements

Essential Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Communications, Information Science, Library Science, Knowledge Management or related. Master\'s degree a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience with business consulting, knowledge management, content management, or related in a consulting, corporate or enterprise environment.
  • Experience working in multinational, multicultural environments required.
  • Strong experience with information, knowledge and/or content management, DAM systems, metadata, taxonomies, and databases.
