Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will ensure the highest quality of food preparation and presentation while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The Kitchen Supervisor will lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff, ensuring that all food is prepared to specifications and that the kitchen adheres to health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff activities to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring dishes meet quality standards. Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to promote skill development and maintain high standards of food preparation. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies and ingredients as needed. Collaborate with the Head Chef to manage food costs and minimize waste. Conduct regular quality control checks on food items and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and equipment. Address any operational issues or staff concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Kitchen Supervisor or similar role in a restaurant or food service environment. Culinary degree or relevant certifications preferred. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
