Job Description

A. Kitchen Operations



Supervise daily kitchen activities and ensure smooth workflow.

Monitor food preparation to ensure taste, quality, portioning, and consistency.

Oversee order dispatch, plating standards, and timely service.

Assist in menu execution, recipe adherence, and station management.

B. Staff Management



Allocate duties and manage shift schedules for commis and helpers.

Provide on-the-job training for new staff and junior cooks.

Ensure discipline, proper grooming, and work ethics within the team.

Motivate team members and address performance-related issues.

C. Inventory & Stock Control



Monitor inventory levels and ensure availability of required ingredients.

Implement FIFO & FEFO across all storage areas.

Assist in planning daily/weekly material requirements.

Track and reduce wastage by monitoring kitchen processes.

D. Hygiene, Safety & Compliance



Ensure the kitchen, equipment, utensils, and storage areas are clean and sanitized.

Enforce FSSAI policies and internal hygiene SOPs.

Maintain personal hygiene standards for all kitchen staff.

Report equipment issues and coordinate repairs.

E. Documentation & Reporting



Maintain daily production logs, wastage logs, and inventory sheets.

Track attendance and performance of kitchen staff.

Provide daily/weekly reports to the Outlet Manager or Head Chef.

F. Quality & Standards



Conduct regular quality checks during prep and service.

Maintain recipe consistency and minimize customer complaints.

Ensure compliance with the company's food standards and kitchen SOPs.

3. Skills & Competencies



Strong leadership and team management skills

Good knowledge of kitchen operations and culinary basics

Ability to work in high-pressure environments

Good communication and problem-solving abilities

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Knowledge of hygiene and food safety regulations

Working Conditions



Rotational shifts and weekend work required

Fast-paced, high-temperature kitchen environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?23,000.00 per month
