Assist chefs in basic food preparation such as washing, peeling, chopping, and cutting ingredients.
Help in marinating, mixing, or portioning ingredients as instructed by the chef.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, utensils, and workstations throughout the day.
Wash dishes, tools, and cooking equipment after use.
Keep storage areas, refrigerators, and shelves clean and organized.
Assisting During Service
Support chefs during busy hours by passing ingredients or dishes promptly.
Help in plating or packing food orders when required.
Waste Management
Dispose of garbage regularly and maintain hygiene standards.
Follow proper segregation and disposal methods.
Safety and Hygiene
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (as per FSSAI guidelines).
Wear proper uniform, gloves, and headgear while on duty.
Team Support
Cooperate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
