Assist chefs/cooks in basic food preparation like washing, peeling, cutting, and chopping ingredients.
Help in preparing tea, snacks, and other menu items as per Chai Nagri standards.
Ensure timely supply of ingredients to the cooking staff.
Kitchen Maintenance & Cleanliness
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, workstations, and utensils.
Wash, clean, and store kitchen tools, crockery, and cutlery properly.
Dispose of waste and maintain hygiene standards as per FSSAI guidelines.
Inventory & Storage
Assist in unloading, receiving, and storing of kitchen supplies.
Keep track of stock levels and inform the chef/manager when items are running low.
Ensure proper storage of raw materials, maintaining freshness and quality.
Operational Support
Support in plating and serving dishes during peak hours.
Refill consumables like sauces, condiments, and accompaniments.
Assist in packing takeaway and delivery orders.
Teamwork & Safety
Follow instructions from chefs and kitchen supervisors.
Maintain discipline, punctuality, and teamwork spirit.
Adhere to all food safety and workplace safety rules.
