We currently have vacancies for a Kitchen Associate - Pastry to join our Front Office team.

Duties:

• Assist in the daily operation/production of the Pastry / Bakery section.
• Maintain high standards of food preparation and service along with the existing standards.
• Reflect the Shangri-La philosophy by providing the highest quality of service to our customers.
• Good knowledge of food preparation techniques and menu contents
• Practice the hygiene and sanitation procedures set by the hotel.

• Has a diploma/certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent is preferred.
• Preferably has experience working in either a luxury restaurant or a 5* hotel background.
• Must be a friendly, helpful, and trustworthy.
• Enjoys planning, organizing, and problem solving.
• Communicates with fluency in English (as well as the local language)
• Enjoys being challenged.
• Displays curiosity and takes time to learn and understand new culinary trends.
• Committed to serving food of the highest quality.
