Job Description

Key Responsibilities



1. Food Preparation & Support



Ingredient Prep:

Wash, peel, chop, and slice vegetables and fruits.

Basic Cooking:

Assist with simple tasks like preparing salads, cold appetizers, or plating desserts under the chef's supervision.

Station Setup:

Help chefs "set the line" by ensuring all necessary ingredients and garnishes are at their workstations before service starts.

Equipment Operation:

Use basic kitchen machinery such as slicers, blenders, and industrial mixers safely.

2. Hygiene & Cleanliness



Dishwashing:

Wash pots, pans, utensils, and dinnerware either by hand or using industrial dishwashers.

Sanitization:

Regularly clean and sanitize workstations, food preparation surfaces, and storage areas.

Deep Cleaning:

Clean kitchen floors, walls, and heavy equipment (ovens, grills, refrigerators) following a strict schedule.

Waste Management:

Empty trash bins, sort recycling, and ensure food waste is disposed of according to local health regulations.

3. Inventory & Logistics



Delivery Handling:

Assist in unloading food deliveries and checking them against invoices.

Stock Rotation:

Organize storerooms and walk-in coolers using the

FIFO

(First-In, First-Out) method to ensure freshness.

Linen Care:

Organize and store clean aprons, towels, and uniforms.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
