Job Position: Key Account / Institutional Sales Manager
Office Timing:
Weekdays:
CTC: 45000-55000 INR monthly PLUS

Role Overview:
The Key Account / Institutional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving large-value, institutional and bulk sales of the company's products such as lawn mowers, professional turf equipment & small agri machinery. This role focuses on non-dealer sales, handling corporate, government, PSU, infrastructure, hospitality, sports, and institutional customers, managing the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Institutional & Key Account Sales
? Identify, develop, and manage key institutional customers, including:
? Government & PSU departments
? Municipal corporations & smart cities
? Airports, ports, railways ? Golf courses, sports stadiums, clubs
? Hotels, resorts, large real estate & industrial campuses
? Educational institutions, hospitals, factories
? Drive big-ticket orders, tenders, and bulk procurement deals.
2. Business Development & Lead Generation
? Proactively generate institutional leads through:
? Field visits, networking, references
? Consultants, contractors, facility managers
? Industry events, expos, and trade fairs
? Build long-term relationships with decision-makers and influencers.
3. Tender & Project Sales Management
? Track and evaluate government and private tenders.
? Coordinate with internal teams for:
? Technical specifications
? Pricing & commercial negotiations
? Documentation and compliance
? Lead pre-bid and post-bid discussions and negotiations.
4. Sales Process & Closure
? Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations.
? Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.
? Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts.
? Ensure timely order closure and payment collection.
5. Coordination & Execution
? Act as the single point of contact for key accounts
? Coordinate with:
? Production & supply chain
? Service & installation teams
? Finance & accounts
? Ensure smooth order execution, dispatch, installation, and handover.
6. Market Intelligence & Reporting
? Track competitor activities, pricing, and institutional deals.
? Provide regular reports on:
? Pipeline & forecast
? Order closures
? Key account status
? Share market feedback to improve products and offerings.
Key Result Areas (KRAs)
? Achievement of quarterly and annual revenue targets
? Number and value of big-ticket institutional deals closed
? Conversion rate from lead ? demo ? order
? Tender participation vs win ratio
? Payment realization and account health
? Strength and continuity of key institutional relationships
Candidate Profile
Experience
? 5-10 years of experience in B2B / Institutional / Project sales
? Strong exposure to big-ticket products such as:
? Turf & landscaping equipment
? Experience in government tenders and corporate procurement preferred
Skills & Competencies
? Strong negotiation and closing skills
? Ability to handle long sales cycles
? Excellent communication & presentation skills
? Commercial understanding of pricing, margins & contracts
? Comfortable with travel and field-based selling
? Strong relationship-building ability with senior stakeholders
Educational Qualification
? Graduate in Engineering / Horticulture / Management / Commerce
? MBA (Sales / Marketing) preferred but not mandatory

? Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
