Job Purpose

The E- Commerce KAE role is a critical P&L role in the E- Commerce team reporting to the Key Account Manager, responsible for supporting the KAM in managing the Amazon and Cloudtail account. Amazon is one of the largest, fastest growing and most complex accounts for GCPL with highly aspirational growth plans and a strategic role in developing emerging brands and NPDs. The incumbent will need to have some idea of account management and digital commerce to drive the overall top line and bottom line for the account. This will be a mix of strategic and operational role.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute effective long range sales growth plan
  • Manage accurate stock planning and logistics (Launch Estimates)
  • Manage sales forecast at monthly level
  • Effectively look at both internal and external data sets to make robust growth plans
  • Identify gaps in assortment, secure listings at retailer. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of new listings process
  • Understand retailer dynamics and engage with retailer to represent GCPL brands strongly.
  • Ensure category management elements are effectively executed.
  • Keep all the outstanding in check as per \xe2\x80\x98terms of trade\xe2\x80\x99
  • Execution of various merchandising and activation for assigned retailers/geographies platform as well as adherence to JBP
  • Manage approvals and provisioning
  • Ensure financial hygiene and work with retailer for timely payments to GCPL
  • Liaise with retailer for process improvements
Educational Qualification:

Post Graduate degree (MBA)/ Graduate with total experience of 4-5 years in Sales (General Trade/ Modern Trade/ Digital Marketing)

Experience:

6-10 years relevant experience
