Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled

KenFix Technician

to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing day-to-day repair and maintenance tasks to ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities function smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine maintenance and repair of guest rooms, corridors, F&B outlets, and back-of-house areas. Respond promptly to guest room maintenance calls (GRMs) and resolve issues professionally. Assist with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and minor HVAC tasks. Support preventive maintenance programs (PMS) to reduce breakdowns and improve equipment life. Inspect hotel equipment and report any malfunction to the Engineering Supervisor. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner. Follow hotel safety protocols and maintain compliance with engineering standards. Coordinate with the Housekeeping and Front Office teams to ensure minimal guest disruption.

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience as a KenFix Technician or General Maintenance Technician in the hotel industry preferred. Basic technical knowledge in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently under minimal supervision. Physically fit and capable of handling maintenance tools and equipment. Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer-service skills. Willing to work in shifts, weekends, and on-call as per operational needs.

Qualifications

ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or related trade (preferred). Hotel industry experience will be an added advantage.
