Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Role : Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Experience: 7-8 years

Location: Kolkata/Bangalore (hybrid, Night Shift 5 PM-2 AM)

Responsibility:

- You will serve as the finance leader and business partner for Corporate and Shared Services division

- You will help to define the financial processes as we are in the development and build phase

- Spearhead annual budgeting and forecasting cycles (quarterly) for your Corporate and Shared Services division

- Review month-end results with your divisions. Understand the numbers and division performance

- Build, constantly improve and manage the three statement model modeling balance sheet and cashflow model

- Support Director in build out of monthly reporting package and board reporting and earnings support

- Support Director with capital, cash flow analysis and other treasury initiatives

- Report and be able to speak to financial results and related implications monthly to senior level managers and key stakeholders. Identify key risk and opportunities

- Provide analysis and interpretation of complex financial information utilizing judgement and discretion

- Identify trends, variances, and key issues and provide recommendations to leadership.

- Deliver innovative, high value-added financial information and support analysis to leadership for strategic planning and decision making

- Understand and focus on investment returns / capital allocation, unit economics, payback, IRR for your division

- Perform ad hoc analysis in a variety of areas

- This role will report into the Corporate Finance Director

Required Skills :

- Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills in a fast paced and evolving, growing business. This is not a junior level role and thus leadership will be needed at this level

- Strong budgeting and forecasting experience. Strong understanding of financial concepts such as IRR, unit economics etc.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles

- Quick learner who is passionate about constant improvement

- Openly welcomes feedback regarding any aspect of work performance

- Can work independently without close supervision yet knows when to ask for help.

- Excellent communication skills with proven ability to communicate effectively with business partners at various levels in a clear, concise and respectful manner.

Experience:

- 7+ years minimum business experience with 4-6 years or more in Finance

- Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, accounting, MBA and CPA a plus.

- Advanced Microsoft Office Excel / PowerPoint and financial modeling skills.

- Tableau and ERP knowledge, specifically NetSuite and Oracle, is a plus.
