RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES \xef\x82\xb7 Adheres to policy on proper dress code and Universal Precautions (PPE) always \xef\x82\xb7 Keeps the department neat, clean and well stocked with supplies for sample processing. \xef\x82\xb7 Aware and prepare hypochlorite solution (0.1% for workbench and 0.5% for sharp disposal) daily as per lab safety policy. \xef\x82\xb7 Segregation and safe disposal of biomedical waste. \xef\x82\xb7 Records and maintains daily monitoring checklist and submit for verification. \xef\x82\xb7 During the shift changes technician should take over, all the duties & responsibilities from previous technical team/check the handed over register. \xef\x82\xb7 Coordinates workflow/workload as necessary to ensure timely reporting of results. \xef\x82\xb7 Check the QC outliers and do the correction/calibration, if not done. \xef\x82\xb7 Update the QC values in URT. \xef\x82\xb7 Follow up critical/repeat register \xef\x82\xb7 Coordinates workflow/workload as necessary to ensure timely reporting of results. \xef\x82\xb7 Aware & Check the Pending samples in LIS & take responsibility to release the reports. \xef\x82\xb7 Cleaning of work bench and providing maintenance for all equipments as per recommendation. \xef\x82\xb7 Updation of all basic documentation (forms and records) in the department. \xef\x82\xb7 Receiving and segregating samples for processing. \xef\x82\xb7 Processing of blood grouping samples and submit to senior for second verification. \xef\x82\xb7 Centrifugation of samples \xef\x82\xb7 Preparation of staining for PS and body fluids. \xef\x82\xb7 Monitoring and maintaining the instrument reagent status. \xef\x82\xb7 Process split samples for proficiency testing for parameters that don\xe2\x80\x99t have external quality control programme. \xef\x82\xb7 Report abnormal /clot samples to Seniors \xef\x82\xb7 Assisting documentation to senior technician and maintenance of QMS documents. \xef\x82\xb7 Sending ILQC for verification. \xef\x82\xb7 Report any non-conformance related to technical activities to their respective DIC. \xef\x82\xb7 Rising of material Indent to stores. Receiving & inspections of kits and consumables and storage of reagents and consumable in department. \xef\x82\xb7 Ensure that patient confidentiality is maintained at all times. \xef\x82\xb7 Participate in all training and continual improvement programmes of the department. \xef\x82\xb7 Act as auditee during internal audit of the lab. \xef\x82\xb7 Maintain work ethics and team building in the department Job Type: Full-time Salary: \xe2\x82\xb912,000.00 - \xe2\x82\xb915,000.00 per month Benefits:
