A Junior Infrastructure Analyst who will join the Infrastructure Team to support, manage and maintain enterprise scale compute, storage and security platforms on traditional and cloud native technologies. The Infrastructure Team are responsible for the lifecycle management of mission critical platforms that underpin our highly specialised offering to clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for a good all round 1st/2nd line support engineer with experience troubleshooting Windows Server OS, Windows Infrastructure, communications platforms, firewalls and switches to take the next step in their career Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience with Windows Sever 2012 through 2022
• Working knowledge of any of the following technologies - O365, Exchange, Enterprise Backup, NetApp Storage platforms would be beneficial
• Experience in creating or modifying scripts (E.g. PowerShell) would be beneficial.
• Basic understanding of virtualisation (Hyper-V or VMware)
• Basic understanding of Security Protocols and Tools, Endpoint security, Security Incident Response Procedures, SIEM, Monitoring, Alerting and Analysis
• Basic knowledge of distributed file systems, network protocols, and data storage applications.
• Security incident response experience
• Any knowledge of configuring security tools to create a strong monitoring, alert, reporting and analysis environment.
• Effective time management, organisation and work prioritisation to meet deadlines with ability to maintain excellent attention to detail.
• Logical approach to solving problems under pressure.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks.
• Active communicator on technical issues and solutions both within and outside of the team.
• Liaise, and work with, external vendors and suppliers

More about you... As an experienced Junior Infrastructure Analyst, it is expected that you can demonstrate...

• 3-5 years’ experience of managing IT Infrastructure.
• Providing a quality and personable support experience to the business and other IT Teams
• Providing an escalation path to different IT Teams, such as Helpdesk or 1st/2nd Line support.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues within a timely and effective manner.
• Understanding Incident, Request, Change, Problem and Knowledge management (ITIL).
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge base updates.
• Identifying areas for continuous improvement through monitoring, automation and process refinement.
