Job Overview
We are seeking a
passionate, creative, and motivated Junior Interior Designer
to join our design team at our
Ahmedabad studio
. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career designers who are eager to gain
hands-on experience
in both design development and site execution. The selected candidate will work closely with senior designers and project teams, contributing to live projects from concept stage to final execution.
Key Responsibilities
Assist senior interior designers in
concept development, space planning, and layout design
Prepare
2D drawings and working drawings using AutoCAD
Support the creation of
3D views, mood boards, and design presentations
Assist in
material selection
, including finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and consultants for smooth project execution
Visit project sites for
measurements, inspections, and execution support
Help in preparing
BOQs, material specifications, and client presentation documents
Ensure design outputs meet
quality standards, timelines, and client requirements
Support day-to-day studio work, documentation, and coordination activities
Required Skills & Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in
Interior Design
Strong working knowledge of
AutoCAD
(mandatory)
Basic knowledge of
SketchUp / 3ds Max / Lumion / V-Ray
(any one)
Understanding of interior materials, finishes, furniture, and basic detailing
Good sense of aesthetics, color coordination, and spatial planning
Basic proficiency in
MS Office
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
Exposure to site execution and coordination
Knowledge of modular furniture and carpentry details
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Willingness to learn, adapt, and take responsibility
