Danfoss is looking for an experienced Test Consultant for the ERP & BI area of Danfoss Group IT (DGIT). This team is responsible for supporting our existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Business Intelligence (BI) systems supporting Danfoss in its’ digitalization and electrification agenda across the globe.
The role as Test Consultant includes manual testing in an SAP S/4HANA environment. You will join a motivated and diverse team, which is highly engaged in (agile) software development, test automation and latest technology.

Job Responsibilities

• Engage with different teams (FI, CO, MM, SD, TMS, SM, WH etc.) to understand the processes and create test cases based on different requirements.
• Support the Automation Team in scripting by providing functional knowledge and involve in automation script execution when required.
• Involve in Integration and Regression testing during each release.
• Work closely with Testing team and ensure raised defects are getting fixed by following up with respective defect fixing team.
• Support UAT Testers during each release UAT phase.
• Take over responsibility for SAP PP testing.
• Optimize the associated processes and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with project team members to identify risks/key issues that affect quality and work with different project teams to mitigate them.
• Create and run test planning activities in both agile and waterfall environments.

Background & Skills

Mandatory Skills

• 0-2 years of experience in SAP PP module.
• Ability to write and execute SAP PP test cases and report test results.
• Must have knowledge in fetching test data from SAP Tables.
• Have ensured if appropriate testing documents and artifacts are documented and maintained.
• Have experience of SAP Testing for Forecast to Produce business process.
• Knowledge in PP Master Data, MTO & MTS Process, MRP Run, Discrete Production, Kanban, Forecast Consumption, Material Creation, Production Order, Goods movement, and Batch management. Knowledge in APO is preferable.
• Strong knowledge in use of test methodologies e.g., agile, waterfall
• Excellent knowledge of SAP technologies such as R3, preferably S/4HANA and SAP FIORI
• Experience in test management tools like Solution Manager 7.2, Jira, HP ALM and Azure Devops.
