About The Unit:
Manuscript Services belongs to the Publishing Solutions vertical and consists of highly educated Subject Matter Experts in various fields of Science. All team members have studied their subject field up to Masters level and know what is going on in Science. The team provides Manuscript & Editorial support services including - SNAPP, Transfer Desk Services, and Nature Editorial Services to name a few.

Job Location: Tower 9, Magarpatta City, Pune

Years of Experience: 0 to 3 years

Location - Magarpatta City, Pune

Educational Qualification: Master in Mathematics, Masters in Computer Science, MA in English Literature, MA in Economics, Masters in Commerce, MA in Philosophy , MA in Education.

J Job Responsibilities

Perform quality check (QC) on submitted/amended/revised Manuscripts as per EA guidelines
Inviting and securing Editorial Board Member (EBM) for the manuscript
Analysis of manuscript for reproducibity checks and creating an extended comments document for all statistical parameters; completing AIP checks with the help of a set checklist (NComms Reproducibility/AIP checks)
Performing technical assessment (quality, style, scientific validity) of manuscripts, understand the scope and suggest journals to the author & sending a list of most suitable journals along with reasoning & relevancy information to authors to make a decision (Transfers)
Communicate with Authors/Editors
Assist in coaching/mentoring new team members
Tracking and completion of tasks within timeline
Achieve/exceed set quality and productivity targets
Sharing knowledge and best practices with peers/team
