Job Family Descriptor
- In-depth technical knowledge of optical layer transport systems, OTN, ROADM, SONET/SDH, cross connect switching and signal grooming, as well as, knowledge of ring and mesh network topologies.
- Need to explore their skill and experience in the field of SDH, DWDM & OTN technology, for creation and migration of transmission bandwidth
- High & Low level Design and Planning experience in SDH, DWDM & OTN system
- Have to maintain Good relationship with Onshore/ Offshore Colleague and have to meets customer requirements

Technical Competencies
- Proficiency in SDH/SONET digital hierarchy is required from fractional T1/E1 to 100G circuit level.
- Ability to devise solutions for various projects like Site, Ring, Legacy equipment optimization and migrations.
- Highly motivated with the ability to operate without direct supervision.
- Good knowledge on various Telecommunication equipment\'s
- Knowledge in various products offered by service provider
