Roles and Responsibilities Position: Proto Management( Forging Machining)
Location: Jaipur
Experience: 3-8 Years
Qualification: Any Engineering
- Proto type parts development in Forging and Machining (Transmission parts) category to cater the need of new model vehicles & upgrade existing models Motorcycle & Scooters as per project requirement.
- Drawing Study and Understanding requirements and functions for development.
- Proto parts development thru neutral source & existing vendors for cost finalization, technical support & quality verification.
- Meeting & follow up of parts within the Proto Management to meet the project.
Desired Skill Sets:- Knowledge of Gear Manufacturing, Cam shaft, Crank shaft and other forging transmission parts
- Heat Treatment process knowledge i.e. Carburising, Carbonitriding, Induction Hardening, Nitriding, etc.
- Knowledge of special Surface treatment process, Gear Grinding, Grinding, Cam grinding
- Knowledge of materials and its behaviours
- Knowledge on tooling materials and its material selection for forging die and trim tools
- Knowledge of tool design of forging die and trim tool.
- Knowledge of die cost estimation for forge die and trim tool.
- Knowledge of Machining process and its associated process
- Assess the right proto manufacturing process which is close to the final manufacturing process
- Problem solving using systematic approaches like PDCA, 8D, Fishbone analysis, FMEA, 5-Why would be an added benefit
- Knowledge of APQP way of development of things
