Provide individualized training and support to individuals with disabilities in workplace environments. Adapt training methods to accommodate individual learning styles and needs.
Assist individuals with disabilities in navigating transportation routes to and from the workplace. Provide training on using public transportation or other transportation options independently.
Monitor the performance and progress of individuals with disabilities in the workplace.
Offer ongoing support, feedback, and encouragement to address challenges and promote success
Coordinate with the cluster manager, parents, counselors, and employment partners to ensure a smooth transition for individuals with disabilities into the workplace. Collaborate on developing transition plans and identifying reasonable accommodations as needed
Work proactively to identify and address any barriers to sustained employment for individuals with disabilities. Provide ongoing support and advocacy to help individuals maintain their employment and advance in their careers
Maintain accurate records of training activities, progress reports, and any incidents or challenges encountered. Prepare regular reports for the cluster manager and other stakeholders as required
Collaborate with parents, counselors, and employment partners to coordinate efforts and ensure a holistic support system for individuals with disabilities. Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns
Stay updated on best practices, safety protocols, trends, and regulations related to employment services for individuals with disabilities
