The Supply chain Application Development & Support group works on latest technologies to bring to life large digital transformations for our clients. We look for candidates who are digital natives and demonstrate dexterity in utilizing technology to solve real world problems The JDA Blue Yonder WMS (JDA BY) Consultant is an experienced multi-skilled professional, with hands on experience in JDA WMS. He/she is a good team player, who is part of a team responsible for delivering end-to-end application development services to customers. The main goal is to ensure DXC delivers application services and to continuously improve our maturity in processes and technology, resulting in best in class technology implementation Responsibilities Work in cross functional teams to drive effective creation of Minimum Viable Products that bring business value faster. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software. Think creatively to solve the user problem with holistic and simple solution Support to maintain and improve the application functionality Drive best practices within teams with respect to coding standards and guidelines. Troubleshoot and provide solutions for issues raised by operations in JDA WMS Discrete . Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables. Build products aligned to help our clients succeed in the industry Ability to learn and adapt to new frameworks/technologies Troubleshoot and fix job execution failures related to archiving and purging. Constantlyu00A0review the codeu00A0to ensure the quality of the design by avoiding complexity, advocating clarity and to do this with the team Desired Skills and Qualifications Should have strong knowledge on end to end JDA WMS Discrete configurations related to receiving, picking, shipping, workflows, and reports. Should be able to analyse trace files in JDA WMS Discrete . Strong knowledge in MOCA and SQL. Should have strong knowledge on troubleshooting and providing solutions for issues raised by operations in JDA WMS Discrete. Good knowledge on troubleshooting and fixing job execution failures related to archiving and purging. Should be able to Deploy/Install Rollouts. Good knowledge on Integrator transactions. Knowledge on interfaces between WMS and ERP/Host, TMS, WLM, T&T, Parcel, 3rd party system that integrates with WMS. Help team to build their competency in BY/JDA WMS functional /technical area. Should have strong supply chain warehouse management domain knowledge and overall WMS knowledge. Prior work experience in Support projects. Good communication skills Nice to have skills: Basic knowledge on Linux Knowledge in BY/JDA Labour Management, ASRS,WCS Knowledge in performance tuning techniques is added advantage.
