We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

• Information Services Teams is operating from India locations under Commercial Banking IT. The Information Service Team will develop Heritage as well as DTC projects for multiple business systems and products within Commercial Banking.
• Consultant specialist will be play technical role on different projects under Information Services team to undertake the following responsibilities.
• Coordinate different projects and provide inputs to different stakeholders.
• Work closely with team members and ensure the delivery is of agreed quality
• Ensure E2E quality deliverables in Monthly and quarterly release
• Own the delivery in all releases. Participate in design and technical reviews and provide inputs.
• Review the deliverables and ensure the quality of the product. Initiate process and quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior team members and help to groom them. Business and other stakeholder management

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Acts as team leader for IS reporting tools under Information services.
• Will require excellent leadership skills to ensure the team is engaged, motivated and driven.
• Act as a subject matter expert for junior members of the team.
• Keeping the team members motivated and aligned in their work and ensuring quality delivery.
• Java Technologies: Java 1.5 onwards, REST, Collection, JDBC and Exception Handling, JTA , Servlet & Portlet
• Frameworks/Libraries: Spring 3.0, Hibernate 3.0, Junit, Log4J, SOAP web services etc
• Platforms: Database (Oracle, MySQL), Application Server (WAS, JBoss).
• Software Development Methodology: Agile Methodology.
• Scripting Languages: HTML, JavaScript , AJAX
• Tools : Eclipse, SOAP UI , Toad, SQL Developer , Oracle Toplink Workbench, RAD , RTC (Rational Team Concert), GITHub, Jira
• Certification in GCP will be an added advantage.
